Student Personnel Records
Records that document the student employee's work history from the supervisor's perspective. File may include resumes, interview questionnaires and notes, Performance Evaluations, and other related records.
Retain for five years after employee separation for work-study student records and three years after employee separation for other student employee records then dispose of.
Confidential destruction is required. Paper must be shredded, pulped, or incinerated; electronic records must be overwritten or the storage media physically destroyed. Deletion of information in computer files or on electronic storage media is not sufficient.
