Student and Employees Compensation Records
Records that document and defines pay rates for employees. Records may include compensation plans; conversion tables for annual, monthly, hourly, and overtime rates; records concerning extra merit increase, merit pay system, overtime pay, shift differential, student pay, variable rate pay, and working out of class; correspondence; and other related records.
Retain for current year plus three years then dispose of.
Confidential destruction is required. Paper must be shredded, pulped, or incinerated; electronic records must be overwritten or the storage media physically destroyed. Deletion of information in computer files or on electronic storage media is not sufficient.
