Records that documents financial transactions which may include payments on accounts, Emory card, refund documentation, etc to students by the Student Financial Services unit. File may include signed receipts, check copies, correspondence, bills, and other related records.

Retain for current year plus four years then dispose of.

Disposition Instructions

Confidential destruction is required. Paper must be shredded, pulped, or incinerated; electronic records must be overwritten or the storage media physically destroyed. Deletion of information in computer files or on electronic storage media is not sufficient.
