Residency Matter Records
Records that document a resident in the Medical School, Residency Program that has brought concerns regarding the residency program or employment issues to the University's attention. File may include correspondence, complaint, and other related records.
Retain for seven years after termination of employment or resolution of issue whichever is longer then dispose of.
Confidential destruction is required. Paper must be shredded, pulped, or incinerated; electronic records must be overwritten or the storage media physically destroyed. Deletion of information in computer files or on electronic storage media is not sufficient.
