Photographic documentation of Emory activities, events, students, faculty, and staff with significant relevance to either to Emory or individual unit's function and mission. It may be used for student recruitment and orientation, fund-raising, publicity, publications, research, or teaching. File may include fully identified or unidentified photographs imprints, negatives, and slide formats.

Retention Period

Permanent for photographs documenting significant events. Retain all other photographs for current year plus four years then dispose of.

Disposition Instructions

Confidential destruction is not required. Paper may be recycled and electronic records deleted.
