Human Resources Action Report
Records that document the biographical, employment and payroll data of an employee. Report is updated on a as needed basis.
Place report in personnel file superseded reports should be removed and disposed of. Retain personnel file seven years after termination of employment then dispose of.
Confidential destruction is required. Paper must be shredded, pulped, or incinerated; electronic records must be overwritten or the storage media physically destroyed. Deletion of information in computer files or on electronic storage media is not sufficient.
