Grievance Case Records
This series documents faculty and staff concerns and complaints and the subsequent investigation. This series may include, but is not limited to: notice of grievance, formal and informal investigation or interview notes, appeal documentation, and final report or summary statement.
Retain 7 years after resolution.

Confidential destruction is required. Paper must be shredded; electronic records must be overwritten or the storage media physically destroyed. Deletion of information in computer files or on electronic storage media is not sufficient.
