This series documents surveys and plans to correct asbestos material hazards. This series may include, but is not limited to: surveys; monitoring tests and reports; data forms building plans; correction checklists; and removal records.

Retain until building demolished or sold.

Disposition Instructions

If the building is demolished, confidential destruction of records is required. Paper must be shredded, pulped, or incinerated; electronic records must be overwritten or the storage media physically destroyed. Deletion of information in computer files or on electronic storage media is not sufficient. If the building is sold, records should be transferred to new owner.
