Records that document an agreement among institutions to exchange teaching duties and to assume residence on campus for an academic year or a shorter duration. File may include applicant data, arrangements and schedules, publicity and news clippings, presentations, correspondence, contracts, and other related records.

Retain records for seven years after termination of agreement then dispose of.

Disposition Instructions

Confidential destruction is required. Paper must be shredded, pulped, or incinerated; electronic records must be overwritten or the storage media physically destroyed. Deletion of information in computer files or on electronic storage media is not sufficient.
